Topped With An Asian Slaw

Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 5-7 minutes
Ingredients
4 buns
3 8oz. Filet Mignon, cubed
1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup Mirin
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp grated ginger
1/4 tsp garlic, pressed
1/2 tbsp soy sauce
Cooking Tools
Skillet or cast iron pan
Medium mixing bowl
Directions
On high heat, allow skillet to get hot. Add the cubed Filet and sear and brown on all sides, does not need to be cooked through. lower heat and add rest of the ingredients and toss beef until well incorporated. Cook for a few minutes, don't overcook the beef. Place on individual buns and top with Asian Slaw (recipe below).

Asian Slaw
Ingredients
1/4 cup mirin
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 1/2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp grated ginger
pinch white pepper
1 cup red cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, match sticks
1/4 cup red onion, sliced thin
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup green onion, sliced
2 cups arugula
Directions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together Mirin, vinegar, sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, ginger and white pepper. Add in the rest of the ingredients and toss until well coated.
