Ingredients
2 large even slices of Focaccia bread1/4 lb. smoked ham slices2 slices of Swiss cheese1 tsp mayonnaise3 tbsp butterMaple syrup2 eggssaltpepper
Cooking ToolsNon stick skilletSmall mixing bowl
Directions
Layer ham and cheese between the Focaccia bread, spread some mayonnaise. Slice sandwich into even rectangles. Whisk egg, salt & pepper in a small mixing bowl. On medium heat, melt butter in the skillet. Dip each sandwich rectangle into the whisked eggs on all side and fry for a couple of minutes on both sides until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup.
